didn't watch the game...they won
2 questions - 1) who is this Huskins they trade for? and 2) how did Oliver play? - Manitobakid
Huskins played with Pronger on D back in the Anaheim days.
Spare part, back up D man who only played a handful of games for the Redwings this year. |

I almost left after the second because my sinus is killing me. I even had to blow off my aunt & uncle in the parking lot so I could get home.
I want to credit the worst headache I've ever had and the medicine for inspiring my prediction today.
More seriously, I think Anthony San Filippo's article from yesterday will come true: the Flyers win tomorrow, the Isles & Rangers lose and boom! 2 points out of the playoffs with 13 to go.
Far-fetched, I know, but I like the dramatic fashion it could take.
Everyone enjoy the rest of your Holy Saturday. I'm off to nap this off, I hope.

No way and I can't believe you want to either.
Aren't you the guy who wants to blow it up, get rid of coburn and the rest for draft picks to suffer until they get some real players in here, right?
Now you want an overpaid guy with another year left on his deal at 4.25m to come and play here?
just trolling right? |

Kaberle is signed through next season on an over 35 deal.
Huskins is free if the Flyers don't re-sign him before Oct 1st 2013 |

come on dude bringing in kaberle for free lets us trade timonen for something of value and have a body to replace him for this season and maybe next
if kaberle redeems himself we can dump him next TDL for something to help as well
low risk to claim him
if things don't work out next season just let him walk we're not winning anything next year |

Well, FWIW, if the Rangers lose tonight, the Flyers are 4 points out.
As far as Manning...meh. He's been really up & down in the AHL. He'd easily win the Master's with his +/-, though (-30) |

I feel a win streak coming on, but not enough to make the playoffs
Still it would be sweet to get Pitt again this year (ummm, maybe not, but you know what I mean) |

they can still buyout his last year without a cap hit.
Personally I hope he stays in MTL for the playoffs as a safety net in case of injuries. The only reason why he is on waiver is because of the 23 men roster until next Wednesday. They have a few injured players coming back soon. |
