You know, Engelland will be UFA the same time as Orpik, Malkin, Letang, Kunitz, and Niskanen. He'd be better as a #6 D then what the Flyers have now.
- Marc D

I like Engelland. Very serviceable third pairing guy, not to mention he's tough as nails.

For a team contending in the East to put a player on waivers puts up a red flag. They should be looking to add players at this point. Kaberle must not be very good.
- stveshdy

That team is managed very well lately. I like how they stuck to their guns and signed Subban for their number and not his.

Will the Flyers claim Kaberle on waiver?

He's only played 10 games this year. Not sure if he's been injured, or a healthy scratch. Habs feel he's not in their top 7.
- PLindbergh31

Healthy scratch, with Markov, Subban and Diaz (until he got injured), there was no space for another offensive D.

Kaberle's cap hit next year is way too high for his value.

Can be bought out. Bryz will stay anyway, there's no other candidate (aside from Briere)

I'd like to keep Bryz's potential buyout as insurance if he digresses next season.

...oh man...

I don't doubt that Boston wins. But if someone can snap off Marchand's beak, I would be happy. If you're going to lose, at least give the fans old-time Flyers/Bruins hockey,

I'd prefer we just sign Ryan Parent and Lukas Krajicek

Anyone have any thoughts on if Hartnell might be available?
He is part of what's missing in Edmonton.

...further to that...we could package up a "D-Man", or two, and a pick. That gives you some cap space for next season.

He's pretty bad, but Pitt might want him as a rental unless Letang is coming back soon.

If I were deciding, I'd just let Despres run with it and not take Kaberle.

- Marc D

id want this as well. the coaching staff is hesitant with him though. the teams finally been playing good defense for the first time in like 2 years. i hope they dont bring that liability aboard

I'd be pretty damn willing to trade Hartnell.

What were you thinking? I dont want anything to do with Paajarvi. Dont want Whitney either.

You wouldn't MPS? He's better than I'd imagine you think he is. I haven't really given thought to specific names I was just throwing pooh at the wall to see if any stuck. I'm sure we could come up with a "cap relief" deal for you though.

It's tough to be "choosy" on who you don't want based on the condition of your "blue" right now.
