Luke Schenn plays almost 27 minutes, only 23, kind of filling in nicely as a #2 d-man. - ravishingone
He's done a nice job. Blocking shots, and playing a solid positional physical game. Hopefully his offense develops, he's got the potential to improve upon it. |

I think Giroux pissed me off more than anything.
Looking at the big picture though, its nice to see them get some fight back. Havent seen that in a while. Gervais has been much better, and Timonen as well. - flyer_nutter
Yes, they showed fight. They still are unlikely to make the playoffs. They still would likely be cannon fodder in the first round. But I want to see encouraging signs, and I saw them tonight. |

Why would anyone want to waive to come to a team that is only a few points in front of his current team...we beat the caps who suck |

the stupidity irks me more than anything about this team. G's ridiculously bad play, Simmer and Hartnell taking needless penalties.
BUT ... this was a very nice win.
- FlyerGuy
I think the stupidity stems from frustration. Now that the wins are coming hopefully the frustration subsides some. |

He'll never get a lot of PP time on this team. He is right now because of all the injuries. He just has to continue what he has been doing, positionally sound, taking the body, blocking shots, and a confident, authoritative clearing attempt or pass out of the zone.
I like that his performance hasn't suffered by playing with lesser d-men. Its good to see him elevating the play of the lesser d-men around him. |
