That win puts the 7th and 8th spots in play down the stretch...if they would have dropped that one, it would have been all those teams fighting just for 8th with the Devils pulling away.

I figured the Devils would come out like madmen in the second...the Isles got back on their heels, but at least weathered the storm.

Have to say though...they gotta do something with the first line. They are just horrible defensively. It's at the point where I don't even like seeing them on the ice when we have a small lead.

Let's face it folks, the "first line" isn't the first line any more.

Haven't been for awhile. Tavares has gone downhill 5-5 because of these two guys. It's time to shake things up. NOT for one shift either. At LEAST a whole game. Let's see what Anders Lee brings.

Its Boyes, he is a turnover machine, all he does is DUMP but he cannot for the life of him CHase
- Danformo

Moulson hasn't been any better. Its just easier to give him a pass because he's usually scoring goals, although that hasn't been happening lately.

true but Mouslon ahs been pretty good in our defensive zone. he gets back.
Boyes isnt getting himself in shooting like he was earlier in year.

As hard as KO has been playing too. He isnt getting in scoring position either.

Bailey and Neilsen have found some great chemistry. Aucoin playing with some deperation. I still would like to see the Martin Cizikas MacDonald line.

Regher has 2 points... WHat the hell is Streit worth then freaking 3 firsts?
- Danformo

Good point. EK mentioned Yandle and the Isles. Deal Streit and use some of the assets for Yandle. Great win tonight. Bailey continues to play well. Hopefully we see Lee tomorrow and a home win.

Don't agree with that at all. He does occasionally stumble in the right direction, but I feel his play defensively has been probably the worst out of all of our forwards.

Would love to see Martin Cizikas Mcdonald line again. Probably our 3 most hard working players

i think what Cappy means is maybe Ullstrom coming back. that would be huge plus. Anything that gets Reasoner out of lineup is a plus.

He has to play Nabby tomorrow. but if he notices he is fatigued he should just put in poulin.

And in last place. I know it not because of him but you can make case he putting up Okposo/Comeau type points. they dont mean anything. Will be even better when he watching isles in playoffs.

Why trade Streit?

Do you want a draft pick or a chance @ the playoffs?

oh I'm sorry, I didn't know the Isles are so offensively gifted

Why get rid of Streit?? Kind of working backwards no? The Isles just as easily could have gotten Bouwmeester for christ sakes! Flames were fleeced!!!

we drafted a bunch of them.

Isles should really be looking at guys like Clowe, Roy, or Pominville.

Islanders want to be buyers this deadline but they also have some players teams are very interested in, one being captain Mark Streit who has garnered interest from the Wings & Blackhawks even though the Isles are actively trying to re-up Streit to another multi-year contract. Other players teams are interested in from the Isles are C- Nielsen ' Winger- Bailey, Blackhawks / Wings / Blues have all called about Franzie and Flames / Blue Jackets have been monitoring Josh. - See more at: http://ibnsportswrap.com/...=484#sthash.i0Sp34y5.dpuf

I do not get the Flyers? Why would they be buying? There GM is worse than ours.
