think the trade will be Laughton and a 2nd for Clowe - vejim
Better than Couturier but still bad. Wait and try and sign him this offseason. |

When it comes to Clowe I wouldnt trade any prospects for him, he has just as many goals as I do and thats 0 lol. If any prospects get traded their better be a top pairing d-man coming to Philly. |

How about not sign him at all. Why Clowe? We must be trading a winger to Calgary for Bowmeestermeester. Bye Simmonds. |

DGB's seller/buyer recap. Pretty funny...
http://www.downgoesbrown....-buyers-sellers-2013.html
Here's what he has to say about the Flyers - very accurate insights. It's almost like he works in the front office or something...
Seller: Philadelphia Flyers - Team sources indicate that obviously, anyone who can read the Atlantic Division standings can see that they're clearly in this category, and only a moron would… oh, sorry, they thought you said "cellar". No, they're definitely buying.
Rangers was funny too:
Buyer: New York Rangers - Have recently found themselves in the market for a player who has size and strength and a willingness to drop the gloves and access to the parking lot outside whatever fashion magazine Sean Avery is working at these days.

I don't want to lose Simmonds but the chance of him suffering a major head or eye injury must be among the highest in the league. He fights, stands in front of the net on the powerplay, pisses people off, and he doesn't wear a visor. |

Ek has spoken. Er..tweeted. Or something....anyway there were some words involved:
Hockey Buzz Eklund @Eklund Flyers source tells me they "aren't close on anything as of now." of course that can always change. Couturier will NOT be part of deal. |

I would not approve of such a deal.
Basically, I'm probably going to hate any deal for Clowe that involves a player on the current roster.
I would also hate a deal for Clowe that involves our first round pick.

See even to me that trade doesnt make sense or "hockey sense". Read has been farely productive, signed through next year on the cheap. I would trade Wellwood or Z and some picks but thats it for him. Now if its a top paring D-man then I dangle a solid prospect or two. |

Anyone know why Clowe has had such an off season? Ice time limited? injuries? I expected with the start of SJ's season, he'd have more points. |

If they traded Read for Clowe, Homer should be fired on the spot.

Matt Read has done everything asked of him by this coach. He's fast and can play in just about any situation. He's reliable on this ice. He's played in pain.
I don't want to get rid of a guy like that for a goal with zero goals this year.
I want Holmgren to find more players like Matt Read; not get rid of them. |

AF. RT @AprFoolsBobMc: PHI trades F Sean Couturier to SJ for F Ryane Clowe and D Brent Burns
See the part in bold above? Pretty much should tell everyone that it is fake. |
