Explain to me why we even need him in this organization? This makes no sense, to free up a contract spot by trading Harry Z i can understand , but to take back this guy makes no sense..it feels like an organizational step back to be honest. |

I'll take a stab at it.
They like Lauridsen such that they envision keeping him up with the big club. As such, a vacancy was created in ADK for a big, physical defenseman (which would be Rosehill).
That's the best I can do to make sense of this. |

Only sensible thing seems to be that Rosehill is a FA after this year, and Z isn't. So if they don't sign Rosehill after this season, they get cap space and a contract slot. This would assume that the Flyers were pretty much done with Z and didn't want him (or his contract) next year.
Other than that I see no reason for this deal. |
