What was the point of the Harry Z trade. The guy had wheels he just needed to learn to control himself better. Felt like Lava never really trusted or liked him. - LJF
I'm actually giddy he's gone, he sucked. This guy prolly does too but he plays d so... |

In the end, Harry Z was a player who you couldn't trust, because you never knew when the next 5 dumb minute charging major was coming. He never was able to control himself, and probably didn't fit into the team's future plans. So really, they just opened a slot for next season. |

Harry Z was not likely to establish himself as an NHL player. Other then good skating ability, he didn't bring much to the ice. As a 4th line player, you need to develop a niche, and be a contributor in an area. Such as a player on the PK, or an agitator and physical presence such as Rinaldo.

Yeah, he's kind of an outdated tough guy, so I guess he plays a lot of forward nowadays to keep a job.
I was spit balling anyway about whatever role he'd play on the Phantoms. No idea why they picked up this meatball. - johndewar
As was said, I expect that this was to free up a roster spot for next year.. the issue I have is they couldn't get anything at all for him? |

Surely Giroux didn't think anybody would buy that on April Fools... |

I liked Harry Z's energy and because of his skating, he put himself into situations for good scoring opportunities but he doesn't/didn't seem real good at finishing those opportunities. |

Yep, it's looking that way.
Anthony SanFillippo is reporting that Rosehill is going to be on the Flyers roster.....not Adirondack's.
Again. No idea what they think this guy brings to the Flyers other than being a soon-to-be expired contract slot and someone to keep Jody Shelley company in the Riley Cote suite. |

That should tell you about his value league-wide. |

Maybe Homer wants to toughen up the lineup. I have no idea. My question is who sits for this bum.
EDIT: Nevermind. Forgot about Talbot's injury. |

You can get energy from any player you call up. Bottom line is he brought very little to the ice, as a 4th line player. Okay as a call up for a game or two, but that's about it.

Rosehill will join the #Flyers roster. He is not headed to the #ADKPhantoms |

Loading up on Dmen for the playoffs. I see he's a Forward and a Dman? |

Speaking of Cote...were he in 07/08 form, do you think he could make this team right now with our depleted forward ranks? |

Agreed. He had speed sure, but his hockey IQ was minimal at best and he's not exactly a great finisher by any stretch of the imagination. |

Yes, very odd. He does not appear to meet the usual criteria for acquiring a marginal player from a competitor - he did not score against the Flyers in his last game against us. |
