Also, if the Flyers are going to scratch Knuble (most likely) I'd think McGinn would be first into the lineup over Harry Z and now Rosehill. - NickTheKid87
I wouldn't scratch Knuble. Dude's been playing his best hockey in 6 months recently. |

They better not scratch Knuble. Since being re inserted in the lineup, he's been scoring for us and we are 2-0-1 |

I can see that and this is a marginal trade at best.
I don't know if they though Harry Z would ever become anything here.
On another note..

With Ryane Clowe available, there hasn't been this much excitement about a zero goal scorer since Brad Marsh was on the block. Way back when
I laughed. - opeth_pa
I like it.
I'm down with any Brad Marsh shout out.

Maybe hartsy and g should spend less time joking and more time trying to figure out how to score goals hmmm maybe - nonpoint22
Outstanding idea. You should send him a tweet with this suggestion. He probably hasn't even thought of that yet, what with all the goofing and joking... |

I wouldn't either, which leads me to believe Harry Z would have never seen playing time at all unless another player went down. Trading him might have been a favor so he can get more time. |

And Hartnell/Simmonds/Rinaldo couldn't have handled that? It's not like he'll be on Giroux's line, so any one of those 3 could have come off the bench as easily as Rosehill. - jmatchett383
You want Hartnell and Simmonds playing Hockey and staying out of the penalty box. And not risk getting hurt in fights. Rinaldo is doing so well developing his game and actually developing a reputation of being a solid player, and not just a meathead. He doesn't have the experience in that role. Let him continue to do what he is doing. They didn't give anything up to get this guy. And it's likely just for the rest of the year.

I understand, but I'd rather they keep the lineup they've had an reinsert McGinn for Talbot over a guy who will play 3 minutes a game. Rinaldo has done a good job, but part of his game should be fighting when the situation warrants it. |

Really? yes...24/7 hockey because people aren't human and can't actually do something other than score.

My bud went through that, and for him if his wife works, it comes off what he has to give her for child support etc... so of course she does nothing.. I love when lazy people get called out. Get a job and set an example for your kids people! End rant. |

So would I. But I also want Giroux to not get hurt. He's been run at a couple of games in a row. I'm only stating what I think is the motivation behind the return. I also think it has some to do with Harry Z no longer in their plans.

That's what I'm thinking. If they're lucky they can trade him to the blues and get Sergey Andronov. |

I think it has about 95% to do with contract status and 5% to do with his effect on other teams. I'd just prefer a guy who can actually play a bit. |

Oh I know that but screwing with an uptight fanbase that spends $80 a game to watch underachieve isn't a real smart joke imho |

Thanks, I've been working really hard at it lately. Wasn't sure I'd really done it (I tend to joke around a lot, so it can be hard to tell). But having you confirm it for me is really very gratifying. And using a personal attack to do it was just icing on the cake. Yep, this is definitely one for the scrapbook!!!

I think it's pretty clear why they got the guy. If it was 95% about contract status, they would of left Rosehill in the AHL, and not added him to the Flyers roster.

Woah, don't be drawing comparisons between pro hockey and what we do here. They just play a game, what we do requires rigorous practice, strategization , video review, and mental preparation. We don't have time for horsing around. |
