Oh I know that but screwing with an uptight fanbase that spends $80 a game to watch underachieve isn't a real smart joke imho - nonpoint22
I get ya. You're saying you don't mind pranks.. you mind when players who should be traded joke that they've been traded. |

Woah, don't be drawing comparisons between pro hockey and what we do here. They just play a game, what we do requires rigorous practice, strategization , video review, and mental preparation. We don't have time for horsing around. - BulliesPhan87
This is true. Actually most flyers aren't even flyers fans.. they're just fans of the team they play on |

Thanks, I've been working really hard at it lately. Wasn't sure I'd really done it (I tend to joke around a lot, so it can be hard to tell). But having you confirm it for me is really very gratifying. And using a personal attack to do it was just icing on the cake. Yep, this is definitely one for the scrapbook!!!

So would I. But I also want Giroux to not get hurt. He's been run at a couple of games in a row. I'm only stating what I think is the motivation behind the return. I also think it has some to do with Harry Z no longer in their plans. - MJL
Hadn't considered that, but makes sense. They really don't need Jake getting in fights protecting G if the other team is running him. Also, although he took the long penalty.. it was nice to see the emotion and having the captain's back.. Ignited the team and looked like they really wanted it.. once they tied it..I knew they were going to win. |

I think it's pretty clear why they got the guy. If it was 95% about contract status, they would of left Rosehill in the AHL, and not added him to the Flyers roster. - MJL
Well, hopefully he contributes in a positive way and isn't a liability on the ice. |

That's true, but at the same time, it was awesome that he did it. I don't want it to be a regular occurence, but I loved it from a team standpoint. |

It all depends who is on the ice at the time.. I have a feeling that if Rosehill was on the team, and he wasn't on the ice, Voracek probably would still have done that. There was some emotion involved. |

I actually want them to continue this type of play.. The team is way better when they are emotionally involved. I would like to see us keep it up.. |

I think you're right. Which is part of why the whole enforcer thing, doesn't mesh. And other players aren't going to think, "they got Rosehill on the bench, so I better not do anything out of line."

I think it has more to do with all the injuries in practice. Lavy wanted someone who would deter the Flyers from continuing to injure themselves during practice. Now, if you hit someone in practice you have to fight Rosehill. Genius when you really think about it. |

I'll tell you what he brings and why they made this deal. A player took a run at Giroux last game, and Voracek had to fight him. In my opinion, that is why they dealt for Rosehill and why he is going to be on the Flyers roster. - MJL
It was a good hit, not even particularly vicious. |
