I do not know. I'm neither endorsing or condemning the deal. It's really a minor move. - MJL
I agree.
However, I would rather have a younger Harry Z who has some speed and fits todays game more than an enforcer who is older.

Woah, don't be drawing comparisons between pro hockey and what we do here. They just play a game, what we do requires rigorous practice, strategization , video review, and mental preparation. We don't have time for horsing around. - BulliesPhan87
I love ya Bullies. This is super Leight but stupid funny !
Playing him against a fast skill team in Montreal would be ridiculous.
Harry Z prob won't amount to much, but the trade is pointless, and it's part and parcel to the GM overreacting due to one isolated incident. - PLindbergh31
Neither would be picked up on waivers. I think the GMs like the paperwork aspect of it

I think what is overreacting is saying the GM is overreacting by making this move. If the GM feels that they need this to protect his star players. I'd say he's doing his job. They didn't give anything up.

Giroux has been getting hit all year. I can understand the boarding but that hit yesterday was clean.
It all depends who is on the ice at the time.. I have a feeling that if Rosehill was on the team, and he wasn't on the ice, Voracek probably would still have done that. There was some emotion involved. - mikel33
Yeah, I agree. He did it on instinct and was close enough to Oleksy right after the hit where his emotions carried over and they fought. I don't know what this stiff is going to do, but I don't think he's here to protect G, because he won't likely be out there with him anyway. The team has guys that can look out for each other without this goon...sometimes smaller moves like this are made for reasons that aren't obvious at the time. Maybe it's just some reserve reserve D Homer scraped up in his searching around the league. I doubt he plays any significant role.
I was intrigued by Harry Z's speed and determination. He had blazing speed and could often beat opponents to loose pucks along the wall. He might make a solid bottom sixer if he can learn to channel all that energy a little better.
