Islanders and Rangers win hurt, but if Habs can hold onto the lead vs the Canes (2-1 after 2), it helps out a bit (Canes currently with 2 games in hand and 1 point ahead of Flyers).

I'm curious where you all stand with the flyers and why. Do you want them to:

Buy and make a run (likely lose out on top pick).

Stand pat, and not touch anything (could squeeze in, could get last).

Sell and possibly get a good pick.

I don't think the Flyers have much to deal to get a good pick. I like any major move the Flyers make to be about the future. Not about making a run.

Once Shattenkirk and Pietrangelo are signed, having J Bo around will make quite the expensive top-3 D.

When Bouwmeester is on roster, it will be after rosters expand Tues at midnight. Armstrong said team will decide later what to do about 9 D.

Hitch is going to switch the blues to a 2 forward 3 dman system at even strength. He finally has the personnel to make his dream a reality.

david perron is an erratic forward w/ a lot of talent. reminds me of lupul before joff started caring...

he's a very frustrating plyr. one minute he makes a G-like move to score and the next he tries to skate thru everybody and turns the puck over. if he matures, he's a premium talent.
