How is a guy who hasn't scored a goal in 30 games demanding anything? This guy has been a farce this year. - PLindbergh31
I agree, can't fault for asking but he should shocked when they say uh I don't think so |

Are you (frank)ing kidding me??? The guy has ZERO goals this year. Zero.. Be glad for any contract.. |

Not very much, probably. Bloom is fully off the rose there. - Tomahawk
How bout Hjammarson, or Leddy? Think they would have big price tags? They aren't top pairing guys on the Hawks, but they might be able to take the next step with more responsibility. |

Honestly, we dont need another player of his caliber.
Dude has zero goals. We need help scoring more. - stveshdy
Well he's had a bad year. But he has scored well in previous Seasons. I'm not saying I want them to trade for him. But I'm not going to knock them until I see the deal. There's been a lot of talk about the Flyers being tougher, and harder to play against. And they need more grit. Clowe adds that.

I checked tsn to see if there is some sort of reason for it.. He was hurt and suspended, but poop, he's played 28 games... only thing I can figure is that he's not getting minutes on the 4th line or something... |

I am confident that we'll be getting a Dman like that either at the tdl or draft. You know Feaster called Homer about JBo.. everyone knows that Homer needs a dman.. Feaster prob asked for the moon as in our 1st, and cooter or schenn...credit to Homer for not doing it.. - Hextall271
A reclamation project like E.J. sure would fit Homer's M.O. |

Hjallmarsson is solid.. there is a reason Chicago matched when he was an RFA.. |

They need more speed and playmaking ability. This tougher and harder to play against is the same thing they've been saying since the 70's. Time to move on from that.
However, lets wait and see who wins the cup so we know how to build our team for next year. |

That's another thing. If I'm getting mid level prospects for Bouwmeester. And a first. I'm not giving the Blues lottery protection for the pick.

Or maybe he's in decline. Sure goal scorers go through 10 game stretches without scoring. Going on 30 games without a goal should raise red flags. |

Hard to see the 'Hawks subtracting either at the TDL w/o getting upgrades in return. With Coburn/Mez hurt, the earliest they'd be available to the Flyers is during the summer.
Leddy's been up and down, but that's not unusual for a youngster.
Hjalmarsson is a fine puck-mover and shot-blocker... can never have too many of those. |

I would not give up a lot. Maybe somebody like Tye McGinn. But personally, I'm not interested in Clowe.

The Hawks have so much talent. This kid Saad has appeared to come out of nowhere. Every time I watch them that kid has a 3 point game. |

Clowe is averaging 2:22 a game on the PP.

I think Homer can fix this.. I am VERY intrigued by what St Louis has done.. They have too many Dmen..Homer should be calling Armstrong like crazy to see if any of them are available.. |

The only reason I could see us getting Clowe was because he would replace Hartnell or Simmonds, who would be included in a deal for a legit defenseman, but I doubt that so I am just confused if they land hime |

Yeah. Flyers need some mobile guys who can move the puck. Too many guys who are similar on their blueline. Need a better mix. Right now it's hard to envision getting that type of player. |
