Well, I'm liking what I'm seeing at your arm chair buddy. - coffee junkie
i guess i'd take the job
i'd have MJL do my bean counting, PLind as my devil's advocate, OB18 and Bill running scouting and JSaq representing the fans....you know, the opinion that would help me lose my job
Chapman is right there with him. Dude is nasty also. Kimbrel is just sick nasty though. - stveshdy
Yeah. Chapman is dirty. He's huge too. His release point is probably about 55 feet from home plate. He's just wild enough to where you can't dig in. The ball has to be on top of you in a fraction of a second.

The only opinion that would matter is how fast you got Ed his coffee when he flew into Philly. Well that and how far you stuck your nose up his ass
That's ultimately why I don't call for Holmgren's head. Can't be sure what is diktat and what is his idea....although I'm pretty sure Jay Rosehill is his call
The flip side is, to replace him, you have to trade as much, if not more. - Jsaquella
Worry about that next year. The Flyers are doing a decent job so far without Coburn and Mez. Now thats a small sample but its not an impossible thing to do.

One game where Bryzgalov was stellar and a second where Giroux sort of took things over.
BTW, Lauridsen and Gustafsson looked awful against the Capitals. In a "I'd almost rather see Lilja recalled if they're serious about making a late playoff run" bad

On a positive note l Schenn has been a lot better than they made him out to be

probably safe to say that Homer values meatheads more than other GM's.

Can't let these kids play two games and decide to pull the plug. Have to let them play and gain experience. If they have to worry about every little mistake then they are not going to be up here long.
BTW, Lilja wont be up with the Flyers ever again. Even if Lauridsen and Gus were playing on one leg.

Gee, two guys that project as third pair defensemen-at best-deserve patience?
Sure, to an extent. But if they're serious about making a run, they won't stand pat.
Jay Feaster trades Jarome Iginla for 2 mid level prospects and an almost certain to be late 1st rounder.
Then he trades Jay Bouwmeester for 2 mid level prospects and a 1st rounder that is lottery protected(i.e. the Blues miss the playoffs, they keep the pick this year).
How is Holmgren not finishing a deal for Mark Giordano while Feaster still has a job?

Everyone should be calling him. Like the kid down the street that just got the pool.
