I understand that Clowe might be addition via subtraction for them, but why would a team in a PO spot be willing to trade either Boyle (their ice time leader) or one of their only recently productive forwards (Burns) for a couple of undeveloped talents? Seems more like a pre-UFA move than a TDL move.

He was drafted as a forward. They've also got too many dmen w/ Braun, Demers and Irwin stepping up. And Burns is a terrible defender. And Clowe can't score to save his life.

unless the prices are much lower than we've seen so far, a move in this direction would be homer channeling his inner Clarke...scary thought.

Clowe is about as useful as Mike Knuble at this point.

One thing is for sure now...while he is on a liquid diet and eating through a straw we can totally say "Crosby Sucks!" and be 100% accurate.
