Now if we don't trade for Clowe or give up a 3rd or less and resign him at under $4 per for less then 4 years it will be a great hockey day.

So they could put Mezzy and Talbot on the LTIR, spend to the cap and then have the other two come back for the POs. IF they were to lube their way in.

I'm suspecting the Bruins won't confirm this deal is done until Jagr is standing inside their dressing room wearing a #68 jersey.

The rosters expand after the trade deadline. So all they would have to be concerned about is the roster limits.

one of Laughton or Cousins and the 2nd pick will most likely be gone tomorrow. I think they trade Cooty at the draft

The difference between Dallas and Calgary is that Joe Nieuwendyk is getting good prospects back, as well as draft picks.

The kid they got from Vancouver in the Roy trade, Connauton, is a good prospect as is Joseph Morrow. The prospects that Calgary has landed so far are not as good. I suspect they got another couple of decent ones for Jagr
