All these guys could for the most part be traded in the summer.

Points well taken. It wasn't for a lack of effort. But focusing on Suter and Parise was by in large a waste of time. They weren't coming here regardless of what contracts were offered. And with the benefit of hindsight you can say the calculated risk signing Weber to an offer sheet was a mistake. If the Flyers desperately wanted Weber they could have had him by offering Nashville a fair trade package.

We don't know and probably never will, what was offered, denied or requested. I personally believe the flyers did offer a kings ransom but Nashville refused to let go. Mez did look hesitant out on the ice this year. That could be from the achillies injury though (takes time).

The shoulder issue should be cleaned up. It will probably still cause some problems though.
