That Galarraga situation was really just wonderful. It really was.
Meanwhile, in the NFL, coaches and players alike are throwing referees under the bus and verbally abusing them....
Jimmy was in tears both after the game and when Armando brought out the lineup card before the next night's game.
Heartwarming, really.... - Giroux_Is_God
Both of those guys handled that situation about as well as they possibly could have. |

The difference is, you'd never see a NHL or NFL ref admit his error with that much class |

Brutal news out of Carolina. Pitkanen's ankle injury will end his season. Expected to be out 3 months. #TSN |

Agreed.
It's just great to see that kind of stuff. It's good to see role-modelness in a time where that's not really prevelant.
I have to say though that NHL players are the classiest, in my eyes |

Joni would be great with the Flyers, he's just as injury riddled as a couple of our Dman. |

Guess it means that the Astros' broadcaster is too stupid to realize that there's a phrase that roughly translates to "Oh (frank) Me!" in Japanese |

Just like Milbury was fired for assaulting a 9 year old. |

Assaulting a person's right to not be offended is more important than physically handling a child in the US of A
'Murica!
Actually, I'm just gonna assume that Milbury's making more than the guy doing color for Astros broadcasts, considering that Bobby Bonilla would be the 4th highest salary on their roster, based on what the Mets are paying in deferred payments this summer |

I guess the Euro-Trash comment from Milbury during the Olympics didn't offend anyone. |

The Mets two highest paid outfielders this year, Jason Bay, and Bobby Bonilla. |

Yep. The buyout for Milbury was probably too prohibitive. I doubt the 'Stros radio guy will survive, considering he's probably making 1/20th of what Mad Mike is |

Probably so. Milbury could have been fired with cause, and they wouldn't have to pay him a nickle.
The Rutgers basketball coach will be fired before the Astros pbp guy. |

Yeah, but he probably could have sued and made it a mess.
Not sure who the Astros guy is, but I doubt he's making a ton of cash.
The Rutgers coach and AD should both be fired. The coach for being a jackass and the AD for sweeping numerous complaints against him under the cover. |

Yes, they are.
Didn't you know, it's against the law to offend people. |
