I think he could a be top line winger on the majority of playoff contending teams. I hope he gets traded because I think he will net a HUGE return.

Could be but I hope hes put on the second where he could be killer.Dudes got a sick shot when hes on.We will miss him on this team especially in the shootouts next season.I think hes been missused on the PP as well.He doesnt belong at the point he belongs down low and to the left the same spot Briere occupies in Philly.

I'm all for trading him. We need to rebuild. If we were one/two pieces away from a run i would keep him without a doubt.

He mentioned the Tampa/Carolina trade before anyone so he must have decent sources.

Disagree. Last year Vanek went into a 20 game slump. Coincidentally it was the 20 games that we pushed back into the playoff race. In that stretch (Homie posted the numbers before) he had I think 3 goals.

Take any 4 games

1 Game he is the best player on the ice
1 Game he is the worst player on the ice
1 Game you arent sure he is on the ice
1 Game (besides this year) he is in the pressbox
