I dont know what your deal is, so what our team is terrible, I am not saying we are a young and up coming playoff contending team. We are a far way off from putting out a perennial playoff team. So This make me a sad fan to wish for a first overall since we dont have any real hope prospects coming up to make a quick fix in the franchise?

Also those 2 years were a 17th overall and a 11th overall (wsh)

I would like to ask the Kings for permission to talk to Hextall for the GM position. He has been the Assistant GM since 2006, and their AHL GM as well, lots of experience, and a true hockey GM, not a number cruncher like Shermantor

Burke would never work here if it was a straight GM replacement. He has too much of a personally for Pierre and the upper brass to handle, they like Yes Men. Burke would have to be in charge of hockey operations as well. And thats a lot of power for conservative Kroenke to hand out.

New coach and a shift in team culture changes a lot. Look at the Canadiens, they had all that talent, really all they did was change their management, let their kids play, get a competent coach and boom back on top.

Fourth Period was reporting that Avs are listening to offers for Johnson at the same level as Yotes and Preds, arent trying to move them but if an offer that comes along that they like, they are not against the move if they feel it betters the club long term.

The two top teams in the league didn't exactly land their talent by 'hanging' around for 10 years like the Flames have. I don't hear anyone complaining about Chicago's empty arena situation or Pittsburgh's bankruptcy these days. They are champions because of multiple years of top draft picks.

Yeah our only real tradable players right now are Jones, and the pending UFA's O'Bryne, Kobasew.

I dont think anyone would want Hunwick, Zanon, O'Brien with years left on their contracts, we might be stuck with them.

I would move Wilson if we pulled off a hockey trade and got back an Offensive Dman instead
