We literally aren't. I mean, we definitely need one, but there's no pressure to get one right now. As long as we have the freedom to wait, there's no significant weakness to the Flyers bargaining position. - BulliesPhan87
cant we trade for weber after this season? |

Something tells me the Predators won't be the friendly trade partner they once seemed to be. Not sure why that is. |

I really wish there was a way to pry Carlson away from Washington. If my opinion, Carlson > Yandle by a lot. |

I'd love to listen to JT tear into some of the dumb Philly media after a game. - Scoob
I was thinking in terms of the style of play both coaches like vs. the personnel they have on the bench. |

if bryan campbell wasnt signed to such a dumb deal i think the flyers would have made the call, hes 33, just about the same age as timmonen when he got him. - Flyers4Life88
Even with his cap hit he might be traded.
Detroit I've heard, although I personally doubt it happens. |

do you think homer buys out bryz? - Flyers4Life88
I think he doesn't have a choice because of the length of Bryz's deal and that's regardless of Bryz's play IMO. If I was him, I'd wait til next offseason to do it. That way he doesn't have to rush to find a replacement in the next 2 months before doing so because that would definitely lead to him overpaying for one. |

There is a side of me that would like to have 6 3/4 D men, maybe a #2 in there instead of a #1 and a #7 that plays every night.
but that's just me i guess.
BTW, for all the crap everyone gives the Flames for the Jbow deal, he does have one more year under contract at 6.5M, which would be more than 10% or next years cap.
Cap relief alone was worth something.
And what is Yandle's AAV? |

Would have probably been traded for Pronger if he was drafted anyway. |

Buyout Bryz, get a package for Bernier and start building from this years draft. |

You don't think Lava's pressure O and Torts D first mentality would fit the other teams players better? |

It's possible. There would likely be a short-term initial improvement for both teams. Would it be sustainable?
I like JT. I know many here don't, though. |

I would find a way to get Bernier and one of LA's D prospects.
That would be a great place to start |

Couldn't be much worse. Both teams have really underachieved this year.
That said, I don't want Torts here. |
