20 year old center who projects as a top-2 line player vs 32 year old career 4th liner? If anything, I'm hoping this means Lava finally gives Couts a chance to play a more offensive role, but I doubt it.

I'd say Talbot brings a bit more to the table, but given his injury, I like this move actually.

Hall would actually fit our 4th line well. He's a bigger body, great shot, and can win draws. If anything, he's a depth guy we can use.

It's possible. There would likely be a short-term initial improvement for both teams. Would it be sustainable?

He can still add an element to the team in a limited role. His skating and shot are actually pretty damn good, as well as his faceoff ability. I'm just glad there hasn't been any clown moves so far from the Flyers... *pray nothing stupid happens until the deadline*

Hall has as many goals as Clowe this season and we didn't get hosed getting him.
