You have to go for a walk after eating at Fogo just to fend off falling asleep from gluttony. |

If they win tonight, they're four points out of the 7th seed. they're not going go for the lottery. - KGBflyers10
I know. Very frustrating they are going to wait till the last week in the season to collapse and miss playoffs. |

Emery wasn't bad as a Flyer, but he got injured. |

if they amnesty Bryz I will just sit and shake my head for.......oh, 2 weeks. I mean, if you wanted to annoint Bryz your number one and move bob cause he made too much....ok. but to only give up on Bryz a year later and trade for the guy backing up Bob just frustrates me. - nastyflyergirl
If that is the end result, then it doesn't make a lot of sense overall. The only caveat is that the Cap Advantage Recapture rule wasn't around when they signed Bryzgalov. |

Honestly, and listen I've been a Bryz supporter this year, but I'll take option two and some cap room.
I haven't felt comfortable with a goalie since Emery played for us, even though it was a short time, he played great for the small stint we had him.

3rd rd pick for a rental back up when their chance at the play offs is very slim is what the deal amounts to.
I can't see them keeping Mason and Bryz both next season at ~8.5 M cap hit for the two goalies - Marc D
Why do you think the Flyers will have Mason at a $2.9m cap hit next year? Are there going to be other teams trying to outbid Philly for his services? |

Just great. We have the worst of the 3 '09 Calder nominees, had the most average one, and are still trying to get the best one. What is this franchise's fixation with that group? |

Did you just read on twitter that he would have given up Couturier and a 2nd for Bishop?

@RandyJMiller #Flyers missed chance to get potential star goalie by not dealing for Bishop... I'd have offered Couts and a 2nd - Randy Miller
I don't.
Edit: Dammit, Leight... no, wait, that doesn't work anymore. Just Mased out, I guess. |

I get the feeling he can't hold his liquor very well.
Wouldn't it be something if at one point all three of the nominees played for the Flyers!

Maybe there was more to the quote, but I got nothing from that that says Bryz is still #1 now and in the future.
That bugs me.

I've changed my tune!
I think the Flyers will renegotiate a smaller cap hit deal for Mason if they plan to keep him.
(I reserve the right to change my mind when I have seen the errors of my ways)
