that was pathetic, on both goals. horrible shift after goal, bad turnovers, and bryz doesn't get leg out.se was all on bryz, ducking??? get the f out of the net
I have to admit I keep getting sucked back in with what ifs and I probably will again tonight. However, as an organization you can't. even if they get a 4th and a 2015 3rd for Feds and Gagne it helps the future which is were the teams best times are. Love the hall and Mason pickups though because I believe both will help the future.

They've dominated this period, had the lead for about 30 seconds and give up 2 in less than a minute.
HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? - Yosimar89
they gave it up in 12 seconds. it's possible because it's the flyers. neither goal should have happened. disgusting.

I think the second to last goal was a poor line change coupled with a turnover... McGinn was desperately trying to get to his man.
The last one though was horrible, just sad. Time to throw some Haterade Bryz.
I have to say I think Coots is a bit overrated at this point. Don't get me wrong, I think he's a good prospect, but I think most will agree, his offensive upside has yet to be proven in the NHL. I know he's only 20 yrs old and you have to guard against misinterpreting a slump in such a player as him busting, but there are lots of guys with a good Jr. scoring record who don't see that part of their game blossom in the NHL, so the risk of his not panning out is there to some degree. Couturier's defensive game is definitely advanced, but he's also looked bad defensively at times, especially this season. Could be just the ol' sophomore slump...it is indeed very early in his NHL development and tough to make any hard conclusions, especially under the circumstances...but you look at his body of work thus far, it's tough to see him scoring more than around 50 pts, while being very good defensively. While that's a good player, I don't think it's one who should garner such a premium in trade at this point. So, if it were up to me, I would trade him for Yandle, straight up.
Well thought out. I agree with most here. I think the flyers are realizing their prob going to have to trade cooter to get the d piece they want. Yandle would fit real well
Yandle is a 26 yr. old, puck moving, offensive defenseman who can QB the pp and carry the puck in transition. He has put up an average of 45 pts per season for the past five years, on a team that isn't exactly an offensive powerhouse. From what I've seen of him, his defensive game isn't much of a liability. He's not overly physical but plays with determination and smarts. I wouldn't see a problem pairing him with a phyisical, stalwart like say, a Grossman. Yandle is an established, top-minute type D man entering his prime. He can carry and pass the puck with aplomb and has gets a lot of shots off on net. While Couturier is a good young prospect who has a chance to be a very good player someday, Yandle would immediately provide critical elements of what the team is desperately missing.
I'd be willing to sacrifice the upside potential of Couturier for the actual proven play of Yandle for the next several + years. Of course, this is all done in consideration of the young depth at forward here with guys like (Schenn) Laughton, Cousins, McGinn, possibly Flanagan, and possible a lottery pick being here. - exlund
