i hear ya, but it's not as if they traded read or couturier. if it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out
i think the new cba changed the bryz situation a lot. the "cap-savings" clawback provisions make his contract look a lot scarier long-term (not to say it wasn't scary to begin with). and having that option to get out from under a long deal after two or three seasons makes having a young nhl ready goalie more important. provides flexibility
this isn't to say they deserve no criticism, just that i believe changing circumstances around the league have something to do with it as well - FlyerMike18
It's just needless. They are basically hoping Mason becomes what Bob was a year ago, but with a worse overall record. Totally needless, and could've been remedied by just holding on to Bob. Now we play the wildcard game again. This organization will never learn. |

Does that include bonuses and other incentives? - MBFlyerfan
Yes but I suspect not appreciation of stocks previously owned unless they are cashed in. |

I think you mean their injury situation. I heard Rinaldo is out with a bad dithyramb. - Flyskippy
Nah, I can deal with the injuries. I'm having a hard time dealing with the way they manage goalies. |

The future is bright except in goal. What happens if Mason poops the bed? He's had one good season and then crap since then. Are we really content in hoping it all works out magically as we did in the past?
It just makes getting rid of Bob all the more ridiculous. They got rid of a guy they already had for a good price, who had a nice upside, who is now tearing it up. - feelingkettle
If Mason and whoever the Flyers pickup in the off season both poop the bed they'll have money to sign a 'good one' or two. The Bryz contract is just too long, IMO. He's got the 3rd longest goalie contract with the 8th highest AAV. Based on the talent around him and the performance relative to the contract one has to determine if the team can get better value elsewhere. IMO, the team can get better value overall with shorter contracts. I'd buy him out and not chance injury. |

True about the health.
Okay if he stays healthy (which he has this season) can he be worse than what we have now? |

Okay. I didn't know if it has hurt Comcast business wise. - stveshdy
From what we're told, and granted it's only our region, that in some areas sales are exceeding expectations-like TV & Internet customers, but that others like phone and home security are below expected numbers. |

Again, with the risks in goal. He could stay healthy, but you know that's unlikely to happen. He will probably get his leg cut off in practice. |

Yes, and you think the hockey team affects cable TV prices. I just figured you were too stupid to google it. Seemed like a safe bet |

that was a nice shift by that unit. very frustrating game to watch. no way should they be losing this (frank)ing game, and yet, they are. |

Nothing they have shown me recently says that they can competently go about getting a "good one" or two. I would love to get lucky this time around, but the chances of that are slim. |

Comcast is a publicly traded company. You don't have to be an employee or stockholder to find out about what you claim to know. |

Gotcha. Should always be in business bc people can't survive without TV. |

they're hitting him in the body all game long. not making him move. no real screens or traffic. no oddman rushes. he's just in position and letting pucks hit him. |
