Wait...only watched snippets...who? - Lexington Flyer
rinaldo to a LBI, which was weird because there was no apparent injury. he was hit by subban early in the game and then had a meh fight with prust in the second. |

The team practically prints money. The Flyers' operations don't touch the coffers of the Cable Division.
You think the Ducks hit Disneyland for money for Pronger and Niedermayer when they were in Anaheim? - Flyskippy
Did your tickets go up this year? I know a few STH's that saw an increase. Perhaps that is how they paid for it? |

Nice win, even after a pretty bad 2nd.
And Bryz on the 3rd goal..."oh poop, a puck...I better duck out of the way!" |

They thoroughly outplayed the habs, thankfully that last goal by bryz didn't come back to haunt them. |

Hopefully no biggie. They will need that sparkplug if they are going to knock the Pens out in Round 1 |

Gus looks much better this time around. Forwards working hard in the d zone prob Bc they don't trust these new dmen. Forced to play as a team is what I see |

This makes a little more sense, but doesn't change my opinion that they really (frank)ed up the goalie situation.
This whole Mason thing just seems like a retread of the past 5 years. Biron, Emery, Leighton...just hoping that an average goalie can carry them. Very frustrating to think that they may blow it up and take that route again. And BRyz is not the perfect answer, either, but at least you know what you're getting. - feelingkettle
Oh it's definitely (frank)ed. They never should have rushed into the Bryzgalov deal. They should have said, we got a keeper in Bob, got a solid veteran to mentor him, and had him split time and learn. |

Yes, they did. I believe they're going up also. There's something about new DVR costs or something in the early bird invoice.

looked like it would with the 2 squandered pp's early in the 3rd, even as they pressed late into the game. everything was going right into price. |

it's definitely a blunder, but i don't think they get rid of bob if they know these cba changes are coming. and in the same vein, i don't think this mason deal happens if the league doesn't add the clawback and buyout provisions. there's definitely some egg on their face, but i think the changed circumstances are big factors as well - FlyerMike18
Being a GM in the NHL isn't about egg on your face. It's about moving forward. And trying to make your team better. All GM's make mistakes. It's never an exact science.

I got free passes to Universal and hated it as much as I hated Disney. Just a cash cow. Overcharging for bad food, long lines, too many people and God help you if your kid sees a souvenir |

yea i'm definitely not trying to deny that they (frank)ed up. i just don't think that their approach is as insane or retarded as some are making it seem |

Holmgren's moves pay immediate dividends as the team captures first 3-game win streak. Man is a genius. He even predicted Rinaldo's injury and proactively moved for Rosehill.
And yes, Oliver Laurdisen is STILL undefeated as a Flyer. The man simply refuses to lose. |

Gus and Gervais are both looking better. Coincidence or is the team playing a different way* that shields lesser defensemen than how they were playing earlier this year?
*Way = System
