Even though its not measurable, Im sure having Pronger around the team the last few games and at practice has had an impact. Hopefully its been equally as rewarding for Chris.
- aosplayo

Good to see with Pronger with the ability to travel and still be involved. Guys like Luke and Oliver can only benefit with Pronger around the team. I miss the big guy!!

Its amazing how much better the forwards are in their own zone w/o Briere. Even though Hartnell and Simmonds don't look the best and I saw Couturier lose his man once.
- PT21

The Forwards have been better defensively, because the Flyers have changed how they've played.

Yup.

Give Mason a start before an off day or 2 so Bryz can have 2 or 3 days of rest.

I am excited to see Mason play.. I really think he still has potential and hope Reese can help him get his confidence back..

Both Flyers goals in that period were the result of solid positioning by the 3rd forward. Schenn is in good position to breakup a pass on the breakout by the Leafs, resulting in a turnover, and a goal. Same with Couturier, high in the zone in good position. Errant pass, turnover, shot on net with traffic in front. Another goal. I give Laviolette credit for the changes he has made. But what took him so long!

Man the Leafs board is like 28 clones of 2Real!

I thought our fans cried about everything.

it's hilarious. nearly EVERY post is complaining about the refs and/or how the league is against the Leafs.

Team game. The Flyers are playing better. Thats why I say sometimes its not about the name of the player. Have to find people who fit what your trying to do.
- stveshdy

I still say if they trade some of the chronically stupid/inconsistent off the team in the summer, and make some solid moves they are on a great path

I don't care what the reason is. This is the way they should've been playing all year.

Seriously, so far they claim.

1. Lupul's head was targeted and Hall deserved a match penalty.
2. Read dove into the boards
3. Hall held Reimers stick on that last goal.

I'll say this. The Flyers got away with that Hall play and a couple of hooks. As well that mean streak I love by Oliver, he could have gotten called on a cross check or two out there.

I expect some PP's for the Leafs in the 3rd.

Maybe, just maybe, Paul Holmgren and his staff know what they're doing.

He's done tonight exactly what they brought him in to do.

Anything else he does with scoring is a bonus, I suppose.

And with Rinaldo out for a bit....does this guy now get more ice time? He might.

Fantastic commentary. It's so noticeable the scaled back attack. Knuble peeled back on a puck in the offensive corner when u knew he would've been in there before. There's a conscious effort out there

I agree. It's a small sample size but i'm impressed by their play since Mez and Coburn went down.

Just not sure why Lavi doesnt play this style with them in the lineup.

Really love seeing Coots play better out there. Seems to have some of his confidence back, I am really happy they got some fire in their ass instead of just waiting for the year to end.

Good for the kids.

would love to see them come out and dictate play in the third instead of sitting back with the lead

not sure about the Hall play ... but there were a couple of hooks/trips that could have been called on the Flyers.

Leafs are definitely due for a couple of PP's in the 3rd.
