Both teams in Florida might be interested, linback hasn't exactly dazzled there. Despite bobrovksy recent play Columbus might be willing to, Detroit has Howard but do they feel they can upgrade? Winnipeg doesn't exactly have a vezina winner there. There's teams out there and again if he's as good as you say there will be a bidding war. Bryzgalov doesn't have to get bought out. He's always looked better with the team playing better in front of him. Considering timmonens career is maybe another year if he stays healthy you have a serious hole to fill on that blueline, better off spending the assets to fix that.

There will not be much of a run if they keep giving up over 3 goals per game(Last three games).
The key to recent wins is scoring five goals per game.

The hatred and lack of faith bryzgalov gets really baffled me at times. Didn't this fan base watch this team get to game 6 of the finals juggling a waiver wire goalie and journeyman backup? If they could get that far with those two they can win with the space cadet jeebus crispy already . Still don't know that I go the buyout route right now, but I definitely leave it open.

That said, There are other needs that are more pressing than goalie this summer.

If he's healthy enough (i.e.--no post concussion syndrome), I'd say it's 100% at this point. He just commands too much cap space for what he provides at this stage.

Still an asset in the right situation, IMO. I'm just not sure it's here anymore.

Totally agree. Also, since they are resigning Mason for at least a year, would we really want two young goalies? Last time I remember having that was Tommy Soderstrom, Dominic Roussell... good years.

more pressing needs then Bryz. They are going to sign Mason for about 2m and go into next year with both of them. Then if Bryz poops the bed, he will be bought out in the summer of 2014.
