Leafs are getting better. Theres actually a coach down with the marlies that develops players. And then the Leafs actually leave them there to learn what it takes, before destroying their confidence. It's (frank)ing bizarre. - Feeling Glucky?
I don't know who is the most responsible for it. But the Leafs Organization did a tremendous job bringing Kadri along. Their patience is showing divedends.
I agree. Pretty clear it was intentional. He closed his hand on the goalie's stick. It was a penalty and it was missed by the refs. Flyers caught a break on the missed call, no doubt in my mind.
As others have said, it's about time we did catch a break on a goalie interference call or non-call. Usually we're the team getting screwed. Maybe this was a little good karma for the Flyers, but it was pretty clearly a miss by the refs. Can't fault the Leafs' fans for being upset. We'd be upset if a similar play against Bryz went uncalled. - BringBack25

if we miss the playoffs while the caps finish 3rd in the east with the same record i'm going to be so livid i can't even fathom it - Don'tForgetTocchet
Just for fun, I'm going to try to fathom how livid you'll be. I'll let you know how it goes.
You missed it because Hall doesn't have three hands-both of his hands are on his stick. The knob of Reimer's stick gets caught up in Hall's stick, but Hall doesn't seem to grab it from the replay on NHL.com.
That said, Reimer has one foot in the crease at the point of contact. It could easily have been waved off
The Sportsnet feed had a pretty good freeze frame of it. Was a little blurry, but it certainly looked like he grabbed the stick for a second. At the very least, he sort of bent his wrist around the stick, if not outright grabbed it with his hand. You could clearly see his glove on the goalies stick for a second, but it was very quick - obviously too quick for the ref to see it.

Wasn't there a rumor a few years ago Toronto was willing to trade kadri and schenn for jvr? But homer turned it down
Organization stand point. The Leafs think highly of him and from what I've read they really loved his potential. - stveshdy
Burke loved him, no doubt.
He wanted him at the draft, and was unwilling to give up the 7th to move to 5th. He wanted to acquire the 5th(and Schenn), but not at the cost of the 7th.
It's funny listening to Pierre robaire consistently refer to the phillies as "the boys in blue". I know their in their day unis, but It's like calling the ny giants the big red machine - Just5
I get more annoyed when Pierre Maguire refers to Crosby as the boy of his dreams!
Incorrect. I absolutely would. But I feel comfortable saying that St. Louis would not. - MJL
I would agree with that. But if money is an issue for St. Louis. Coburn may not be the right piece for them anyway. I would part with Couts for Shattenkirk
