Jussi Jokinen. Shootout specialist does it again. Pens did not look good in the 3rd at all.

Hoping for loss in Reg, but taking a point from the Rags is good too.

Okay so this might be showing my youth here, but before shootouts were introduced, did teams get a point if they lost in OT?
- Yosimar89

No had to tie to get a point.

and he scored the loan regulation goal too. good night for him. that SO goal was so smooth...not much room and he buried it.

pens looked lousy in the 3rd. between all the female doging and moaning by the pens homers they managed to credit the rangers a fair amount.

neal could be out, too, now. that's significant talent loss with crosby and letang gone.

Neal definitely looked concusssed.
He took a wicked elbow to the head from DelZotto.
Jussi jokinen was 13 for 15 on face-offs scored the only goal and the shoot out winner.
Sid who?

I'd imagine the AHL/NHL will monitor if Laughton gets a lengthy suspension for his hit tonight and it's is longer then what Oshawa has left in these playoffs.

So wtf are teams getting a point for losing in OT now?

Shouldn't it have been 2 points for a W, none for a loss, unless you lose in the skills competion?

Too much poop too remember... I get that they want the skills comp.

2 for a W, and one for a skills comp L.

WTF are teams getting a point for losing in the 5 min OT?

based on the tradition of playing a team for 60 mins to a draw, i guess.

If you see if you will see it wasn't needed & either he'll learn or his future as a pro will be a short one.

Teams always played not to lose if they got no points. Not saying it's right, but I believe that's the thinking. I'd rather they keep playing 4 on 4 until someone wins.
