Just doesnt look right but seems as if Jagr is making his way around the league and now has fans in many areas.. Still would take him back in b&o - Trainfellow
Yea I know... Just the war blood is boiling with the playoffs approaching and the flyers clawing their way in . You know if we run into the B's and get bounced the Jagr should have stayed debate will cause a scalr buzz |

Absolutely. The Flyers have played the Devils numerous times in the playoffs. We'd see Brodeur get nudged while behind the net playing the puck and he goes full Shakespearean and draw a penalty and minutes later, the Flyers goalie would get run down in the crease and nothing from the refs.
It's the same thing with calling goals back. I'd be fine with this being reviewable. - Jsaquella

I'd go with Mason. Bryzgalov has started too many hard games, and too many of them in a row.
As someone that lives in that poophole though , it is kind of annoying that Bryzgalov never seems to play in Winnipeg
Really looking forward to how the D holds up, they aren't pretty but for the most part have been getting it done with simple, and smart plays.

Not hard to see why. He and Kadri have been taking over games lately.
And he's awesome at pissing off other fanbases |

Well, that's what I mean, the hockey intelligence is off.
A defensive defenseman is not an "OOOOOHHH SHINY!!" guy. He's not going to score goals like JvR. But if he continues to play 23+ minutes a night when the team wins, it'd be hard to say he's not helping them win. - Jsaquella
I guess it's a common deficiency in sports fans knowledge, just like with football, fans see the receiver catch a TD pass, the qb and receiver are heroes, meanwhile the other important work that went into that play gets unnoticed by the linemen who blocked, backs and receivers who picked up the blitz. If it don't show up on a stat sheet it never happened . |

The few times I have been down to the beaches, they look fine. Cape May county sustained a lot less damage than areas north of us, like LBI |

After the puck went in the net, Bryzgalov briefly extended his arms and shrugged his shoulders in a gesture of letting his teammates know he was unable to see the shot. - bmeltzer
Bryz has got to stop doing that... I understand it may be more out of frustration than making a show of assigning blame for the goal, but there's more subtle (and effective) ways of communicating to his teammates that they were screening him than making flippant gestures that can be seen from the stands and on TV.
It's like if he let in a questionable goal and his D turned around and shrugged at him.
It's just not professional.

True, and the life of a defensive defenseman doesn't even get as much attention as a good offensive lineman sometimes. |

Betcha it's got to do with a guy who used to play for the Flin Flon Bombers.
For me, it's got to do with a guy who played goal for the Brandon Wheat Kings. |

I've said a billion times. I'd hate to see what this blue line looks like without LSchenn. - johndewar
I'm really liking him, if they get another #1 after kimo is gone or maybe even before, he's gonna be a beast |

This. I know its more of an overall system thats working for them now, but at times I thought Coburn played like the 7th or 8th defenseman on this team.
I remember him having a start like that in the 09-10 season, but then he came back around and finished strong. This year, no. Let's hope a full season with actual practice time turns a lot of players around next year. |

I don't disagree.
Right, wrong, or indifferent: Teammates don't like being shown up. |

would you trade the #1 for Sbisa? - vejim
depends which position that #1 is at.. and whether you think a guy like Nurse has more upside than Sbisa |

Lauridsen and Huskins have been particularly good at chipping the puck out into the neutral zone and relieving pressure. Better than the dmen on IR have been in the recent past. Lava needs to stick to this game plan - Just5
Let's put the defenseman who are on IR out there with the improved team play and defense, and see how they'll do. And I think you'll find that they are significantly better then Lauridsen and Huskins. |
