now you can female dog about him.... the first 3 no. - dillpx183
If the Flyers wanted an average goaltender they can go with Boucher/Leighton.
Bryzgalov cant just be a guy who saves the easy stuff.
I understand he is tired, but if he is that bad tell the damn coach you cant go.
Bryzgalov did nothing to keep them in it that period.

terrible goal by bryzgalov. horrid. Mason should start the third. Get him some reps.

First three were not stoppable without a miracle save. That last one was, but it was the horrible pinch by Gus that led to the 3 on 1. Just so stupid.
I'd be tempted to let Mason play the third. - BringBack25
Its not miracle saves though. Goaltenders make big saves all the time. Especially elite goaltenders like Bryzgalov is paid to be.
I cut him some clack because he is obviously tired, but he has to help stop the bleeding there. Cant just be an average goaltender.
If he is that tired, tell the damn coach you cant go.
Cool we get to see mason. Welcome to the net Steve

I can't completely hate him though, he will always have a special place in my heart.

If the score holds true we will go from 3.6% to a 4.7% chance to land jones

Hard to get a damn read. He has played way too much this season, and played too many hard minutes.
He has not been good enough though, but not the main culprit.

Few things.
1...Bryz supporters and Im not bashing but there is NO such thing as an "unstoppable" shot at least not the amount people say he lets in. There are things he can do like rebound control, angles etc. Yes this defense isnt the best but they aren't the worst in the league.
2. Wtf happened to Giroux this season? A shell of himself last season, does not having Jagr make that big of a difference? If thats the case then he isn't even close to being the greatest player in the world as Lavy said.

Lavy has had a ton of chances to give him some rest, but has refused to do so.
Bryz will probably get every start the rest of the way.

Half on coaching and player to me.
Lava has to realize Bryzgalov is tired, he has looked like it. Bryzgalov needs to step up and say he cant go. He is a liability at this point.

All the posts that claim "he had no chance" are a bit much for sure. He's not top 30 in the NHL in save %.
