Loving the old-school announcing on the CBC feed of the MON/BOS game on NHLN. Play-by-play between the whistles, and color commentary during breaks...no talk of what players had for lunch or what their favorite color underwear is. This ain't Doc, Edzo and Pierre.

Yeah, if the Devils score in the last 42 seconds it's almost the worst day possible.

For me it was that they have 2 AHL defenseman and two #7 guys on D that was the biggest difference today. It finally caught up to them.

The forwards not burrying their chances didn't help.

Sucks because that was a pretty flawed team they were playing today.
They have some nice players, love Kane, but overall they are as bad as the Flyers.
Byfuglien is awful, I hope I hear no more rumors about the Flyers pursueing him.

That went out the window when the Flyers beat Boston and the caps back to back. As much as I'm pulling for the Flyers it's just a high hill to climb. I have to say I was very impressed with Homer at the deadline. Hall and Mason for a 3rd in 3 years is excellent. Not sure the return on Feds and Gagne beats that.

His name is Valeri Nichushkin...........One player I'd be shocked if he lasted until they pick in round 2 is Halifax goalie Zach Fucale, I know he had Drouin & MacKinnon playing in front of him but man is he fun to watch.
