Im not a guy who will stand by Bryzgalov to the end. He does need to be better. However after the horsepoop play in the D zone this season, and playing as much as he has, I can cut the guy a bit of a break.

He has been one of the best players this season.

He can be better without question, as can the play around him. Also a credible backup to give him a blow here and there will help. As I have said from the beginning of the year I give him next year, and evaluate after that.

That shift Neal had in the playoffs last year was some of the dirtiest horsepoop I have seen. Been waiting for him to get his just desserts.

Thats exactly what it is. These guys just talk about what the writers tell them to. Even still Id expect some professionalism.

I deal with bandwagon pens jaggoffs at work that are like that too. some are good and actually know hockey. the others know nothing and it pisses me off. they were going off on Bryz the other day even though fluery isn't any better, they make about the same money, stats are very similar and yet bryz plays on a "bad" team, has played the most minutes, and 22 straight. fluery has played on a great team, just faced 34 shots in a game which was most thus far this season, and has played like 50% of their games. their response was he has a cup... umm so does bryz

Exactly. I took it with a grain of salt considering the sources. Bryzgalov hasn't been great by any means, but he's been better than his numbers would suggest.
