If hes a bust in 2 years then he has no value...

it will be a tough bargain between edm and stl. blues may face cap issues, considering the team has an internal cap limit. it will be interesting to see what they do, but that's also many other teams going into the off season to figure out too. it could be in edm's favor to inquire and see what's out there. otherwise edm ain't getting stewart for anything cheap, it has to be prospects/picks return going their way. it's slim chance they take any salary back.

I think there is some opportunity for a trade at the draft, but I think the team is better off not taking a big chance until next year's TDL. Has anyone seen the UFA list for 2014?

I would. Stewart is a first line winger. He's huge so he fills a big need in EDM. Unless it was for financial reasons, I wouldn't do that if I were STL
