Yaks for Shattenkirk and Stewart - Bieksa#3
DO NOT trade Yaks. Give him 1 or 2 years to develop. He had to learn on the job this year, and he needs a couple of seasons to really dig in and "get" the NHL. Now if he's a bust in 2 years, then by all means. |

it will be a tough bargain between edm and stl. blues may face cap issues, considering the team has an internal cap limit. it will be interesting to see what they do, but that's also many other teams going into the off season to figure out too. it could be in edm's favor to inquire and see what's out there. otherwise edm ain't getting stewart for anything cheap, it has to be prospects/picks return going their way. it's slim chance they take any salary back. - deks1
Different situations. Clowe got to chose where he went due to his NTC.
St Louis brought in Jbo because they need the playoffs. They need that revenue. They are going to be very tight on the cap next year. Someone will need to be moved. I think it'll be Shattenkirk.

You give to get. Both Shattenkirk and Stewart fill massive holes in edms line up |

Yeah I'm sure Clowe would of waived hit ntc to go to Edmonton. - SameOld
I meant someone of his type. Sorry (frank)er. EDM'd be better off signing Komisarek, Finger, and Connolly to solve their problems. |

Stl has 27 mill available with 14 players signed. Yes Petrangeoo, Berglund and Stewart have to be resigned but they are in amazing shape |

Meh, lets say its 8th overall. Seems like a fair spot to place edm at this point. If I was edm I wouldn't give up the 8th overall in this deep of draft for Stewart and a 2nd |

Okay, I would do that deal. Now go post this on a St.Louis thread and see how far you get. I seriously doubt they would do this deal.
I think there is some opportunity for a trade at the draft, but I think the team is better off not taking a big chance until next year's TDL. Has anyone seen the UFA list for 2014? |

is that cap space, or how much money the owner has? I think STL is a small market team like NSH where they don't have as much as the cap. I have no idea.
Pietrangelo'll be getting 6.5-7
Shattenkirk 5-6
Stewart 5-6
Berglund 4-5
It'll be tight. |

Well, Hawks have playoff experiences, Oilers don't. But we like Blow the BlackCawks out every time we play them at home.
Hard to say.

I would. Stewart is a first line winger. He's huge so he fills a big need in EDM. Unless it was for financial reasons, I wouldn't do that if I were STL |

I see math is not your strong suit...
27 mill available:
Petro - 6.5
Shat - 5.5
Berg - 4.5
Stewart - 5.5
Allen - 2
That's 24 million for those 5 players. Leaving them 3 mill to sign another 4 players.

#FireCloutier
Let's get it trending on Twitter. - Oilers4Life14
You guys have zero clue of how the world works. Clouts get's hits and comments on his blog.
That means they can show advertisers the stats and get more for ads.
You want to get rid of clouts? Stop reading his blog and certainly stop commenting.
An advertiser looks for blogs that get a certain criteria of hits and revisits and comments.
All you are doing is showing an advertiser you visit multiple times a day, comment on the blog so they will pay a premium to advertise here.
No way Eklund fires a guy who makes him rich to replace him with someone who doesn't generate the type of activity that they can sell to advertisers.
Clout's isn't stupid. He knows how to make money.
He is banking off the predictability and stupidity of the demographic who frequents this type of site. Leading you around like sheep.
You guys complaining are the ones who need to smarten up and get a clue.
Nothing more painful to watch than people crying over the problems they create themselves while thinking someone else is the dummy. |

6 for Stewart wtf are you serious?
Can't see AP getting anymore then Karlsson.
Shats is no higher then 5
And I agree on Berglund
If its what the owner wants to spend then that's a bit different then cap problems |

Or if you've overpaid by 2 million on those contracts, it leaves them 5 million for 4 players. |

What's the problem. Depth players will be at league minimum. And your on the high side of all those contracts |
