Love Jaws....got me so worked up as a kid I threw up while watching it. All I kept thinking as my mother was yelling at me "Any movie that can make me puke is an awesome movie" My son and I went to California after the first of the year, he is eight. We went whale watching off of Newport Beach. As we get on the boat he turns to me and says....."Dad, we're gonna need a bigger boat"......I'm like nice work kid!

I used to watch the old Hitchcock hour with my grandpa growing up and to this day can't get enough of them and I have the old twlight zone box set....the black and whites. Back then the story mattered, sure it may have been cheesy but it allowed for your imagination to run wild...now everything is spoon fed.

North by Northwest blew my mind the fist time I watched it.

Jaws is classic.

A lot of those Bogart movies are spectacular. Discovered Once Upon A Time In The West and that movie was beyond amazing. It just breathes and every frame seems to matter.

Don't know Crossfade but had one of Chevelle's discs (early, maybe 1st). If I remember right it sounded a bit like Tool.
- HawkintheD

Exactly. ...tool is my favorite group. ..and they are major influences on chevelle breaking Benjamin Evans Blue. ...and on of tools major influences was Rush. ..at least Danny Cary tools drummer you can tell Neil pert influenced his play with the time sequence changes and off beats

Battlestar won a Peabody and the story has so many layers but it is subtle in it's presentation. Im midway through season 1....looking forward to continuing.

I was impressed with how good that show ended up being.

Ryno!!! Mostly for his gripping interviews. Sorry, Cubs fan here. 104 or 105 years and counting; like most I've lost count.

Up here in Tiger country; going to check out a game against the Tribe with some frat brothers in May.

Don't mind the Sox but grew up a Cub fan.

I'll be sad when Paulie retires.

The last of the 05 WS champs on the team...hell the Rangers have more 05 members than the ChiSox do

Want to see how the Hawks handle the Wild tonight with new look/Pomminville. Should be a good game, the Wild have been playing well.

You ever hear of Sloan?
- UnnamedSource

Sloan is amazing. my band did a Sloan cover set for Halloween last year. can't go a week without listening to "she says what she means"

i like how when watching out of town games on Game Center, I notice that some of the Canadian rinks will play Sloan over the PA

Heatley should be out according to local news here in MN. Still nursing an elbow. Pominville heads for the net like a bullin a china shop. I would say Seabs should match against him. He will run over Oduya, Keith, or Leddy.

They were smokin' hot there for awhile, but cooled a touch lately. I know there's a lot of emphasis on prepping for the post-season, but I bet there are some Hawks that want to send this team a message about any post-season match-up.

Should be a good one. I hope they are not playing Sharp unless he's completely healed - he could take a few more off and still be ready for the post-season.

He rocked the unibrow before Anthony Davis made it "cool"

But no, phuck him, we might have drafted a far better player (and phucked over the Sedin twins) if they hadn't traded that pick to Burke
