Rusty's song....

This post is BAD on so many levels - I don't know where to start, or what is the baddest of the bad.

Is it the relentless whipping of Olesz? Is it the fact that you actually posted a WASP video? Or is it the fact that WASP actually has a song title that reflects just what they really are?

If he doesn`t DROP to the low 4 or 5 round don`t count on it, this years 1st round pick will be defencive or a rugged center. We do not have a 2 and 3 pick this year, care of "The FRENCH Pizza man" he`s like a soft french turnover

Doesn't someone see a problem here? This Raanta kid is 23 years old. If I'm not mistaken, he's a little too old for the entry draft.

Don't feel bad. I still own plenty of bad albums. I just don't own any that have "WASP" stamped on the album cover.

At this point, I view him just like Montador - experienced depth for the playoffs. That's the upside with both Montador and Olsez.

During the playoffs, the both of them should be kept in the press box in life-sized cases that resemble this:

Montador & Olesz should only be removed if needed under extreme emergency or at the end of the playoffs.

Niemi wasn't drafted. Raanta could be a very useful asset to sign. If the Hawks could lure him over to give him starts in Rockford like they did with Niemi, that would be an ideal signing and a potential steal.

A drawback might be that Raanta wouldn't bite and expect to get NHL minutes (as a backup) or he wouldn't come over. See the Viktor Fasth signing as an example (Edit: as a signing with the backup position in mind).

We don't have any blue-chip goalie prospects in the system, and this kid's solid season (and some good prior numbers) would make it an option worth exploring.

I'll pass, thanks.

I've got enough time put in at punk rock shows to check off boxes on my "bad music bucket list" for a few people's lifetimes.

I'd be surprised if Stan didn't pick up a 2nd, 3rd, both, or both+ before the draft. At least one player, or a player's negotiating rights will be traded before the draft.

At least one of StaHlberg, Bickell, Bolland, Sharp, or Frolik will likely be gone.

After the Salak disaster, I don't see the organ-I-zation going out and signing any career European League goalie to back up Crawford, with Henrick Karlsson being the exception to that idea.

All signs point to the Blackhawks getting the Red Wings in Round 1.

And did the NHL send a memo to he officials to stop calling hooking, holding and interference? The Blues spent 60 minutes mugging DET yesterday, and the Preds did the same last night.

- scottak

Det. would be the best 1st round matchup for me. We can send them off to the east with a big ass boot right after we knock STL out of the playoffs next do Van then Minn to get this "OLD" new rivalry going. Those where intense series Last but not least AVENGE Larmer/ Roenick 1991 cup final 4-0 whipping of the Penguins. That my friends was hard to take and still hurts PS they got the memo and lost the whistle
