Alex Pietrangelo played nine games with the Blues and then was returned to his junior team for two straight seasons. There's only a 25% chance of winning the lottery even at 30. So here's to hoping whoever wins it needs a center. Besides, the number 2 pick comes with a slightly lower cap hit.

So I guess the Avs regret matching ROR now. If they hadn't they would be in a good position to draft number 1 and 2. Oh and the Flames would have nothing. I sure am glad that didn't happen.

Giggy would have never gotten away with saying that to the Toronto media, if he had it would have made the front page of every paper and management would sequentially bench and then trade him.

After last nights loss, I don't blame Giggy for being pissed off. Our guys look like crap on the ice. Duchene, PA, EJ, O' Reilly, Landeskog and Both of our goaltenders come to play everynight. Everyone else needs to take the train out if Colorado. I'm so embarrassed as a fan right now it's not even funny. On top of being completely frustrated on how management handles this team.

They need to clean house. And I mean everyone. Whatever they are trying to do is not working and wont work at this level of hockey. Epic rebuilding fail for the last 5 seasons and now we gotta start rebuilding all over again. We need to bring in a GM that has a set of balls and try to acquire big name players. Honestly, I still think the organization should have given Kovalchuck a blank check a few years ago. Look what he did for New Jersey already. Players like him we need on this team, it's ashame that we didnt even try. Anyways, that's just my opinion.

I will reserve all judgement on the lack of scoring until we have a defense that can win a puck battle and make one crisp pass to exit the zone. It's a real challenge offensively when you need all 5 guys in your own zone digging and chasing.
