Even if he ends up being the backup next year its an upgrade from Leighton. - stveshdy
If he can play like he has tonight, he'd be a solid backup for sure |

He needs someone to shame him in to working hard on and off the ice again like Jagr did. - MBFlyerfan
Gotta believe he's playing hurt. He looks a lot slower than normal. |

this game is really about which team wants it less.
the Flyers obviously want it less than do the Isles. |

the urgency is simply not there. not even close. - hammarby31
Hartnell is making every wrong choice in this game. having said that, i think he pots one. |

The was like the first sustained effort I've seen in the last two games...they know that a loss tonight pretty much means they're done, right? |

he'd have to be in front of the net for that to happen. |

I don't see that's. Flyers just suck. Islanders are a better team |

Voracek is the only forward I see doing anything particularly useful out there tonight. Other than the Alumni line. |

This game is not on Mason. he's been Ok or slightly better. The team gives too many odd man rushes and just doesn't score enough. They need a 1st line scoring forward to complement G and Voracek. |

Does this team realize how big this game is? It doesn't seem like it. |

the Isles may or may not be a better team ... but outside of a handful of shifts tonight they have definitely been the harder working.
and hard work, more times than not, will get you the 2 points. |
