haha, I just mentioned him because he models his game after Mike Richards. But is a really solid player but might be one who settles into a 3rd line center as a pro. - ob18

So are the other 100 Mike Richard's drafted in the top 2 rounds since 03. - GirouxForTheShow
Yup, some solid players but the mold was around long before Richards ever played an NHL game and will be long after |

Actually, Giroux was their third choice.
Their first choice was Trevor Lewis, who went to LA. Then Sanguinetti, then Giroux fell to the Flyers. |

CAPGEEK.COM TOTALS (follow @capgeek on Twitter)
(these totals are compiled with the bonus cushion)
SALARY CAP: $64,300,000; CAP PAYROLL: $64,266,500; BONUSES: $3,012,500
CAP SPACE (24-man roster): $3,046,000
Tell me what you think? I hate loosing Matt Read but you have to give to get and we need to get defense. Not to mention next year read will need a substanial raise.
And the Tim Thomas deal would be a two year deal or 1 year so he could mentor Mason in the ways of being a belligerent tea party redneck...oh and also how to be a good goaltender I wouldnt be opposed to that being Backstrom though... |

Hmmm. Never knew that. I thought it was Sanguinetti all along because he was a local guy even though he grew up a Ranger fan. |

We'll start here. Why would Pheonix want Briere as part of the deal for Yandle?

Then why is he playing, the broken foot does not make him fall down as he has done that more and more over the past few years |

I just think we aren't even done this season let alone past the draft and it's begun.
I'll just go watch London vs Kitchener now. |

The only thing more far fetched than Phoenix taking Briere in a Yandle deal, is penciling in Glasszoros, and Glassmann on the blueline. |

CBA should have in it a draft lottery in the 2nd round for the AHL affiliates. We'd be at 18% to land the top pick in the 2nd round. Shouldnt our beer league AHL squad count for something? |

Collectively we are the 2nd worst franchise in the league behind Florida/San Antonio Rampage
29. Phantoms/Flyers 100 pts.
30. Rampage/Panthers 98 pts.

The fact he's visiting the same concussion specialists Pronger saw, and is having balance and vision issues aren't a concern huh? |

Serious question. Do you feel the Flyers gave up on Bob too quickly? - sippyd
Yes. Now that's due to an aging owners impatience/mismanagement of Bob leading to impatience, or just a terrible decision. I'd like to think it was the most former, but who knows. Bob had flashes of being a game-changing goalie, with lighting quick agility and great reflexes. However they were just flashes, and I don't think the Flyers wanted to wait. |
