I prepare by realizing no lead is ever safe with him on the mound. |

There's a report where unnamed players told Seravalli and some clown from 97.5 that he dozed off in a meeting, after 4 guys went on the record saying he didn't.
I'm much more concerned about the level of compete on the ice last night than Bryz napping, if it did happen. If there's truth to it, I'm sure Bryzgalov will be bought out this summer.
At this point it's academic anyhow. - Jsaquella
Pretty much how I feel. It's just I've been an ardent defender and supporter of his, I know he's not an elite goalie but I still thinks he's good enough to get us over the top. That being said if this is true it will be a gross disappointment. With the way the team played as you mentioned is by and far a bigger issue but an important player, which he is, taking it upon himself to sleep in a meeting is related to the play on the ice. Ugh I'm so pissed about this season, I feel there's little left to discuss. The season will have like the flu will have to run its course. Hopefully the front office can give the appropriate flu shot to this team in the offseason. |

I would have given it to him. - KGBflyers10
Our 2nd PP is abysmal anyway, no reason not to bump down say Simmonds and have Jagr up there. And Giroux and Jagr with Voracek on the other wing would have been dandy. |

I'm liking the idea of just status quo. Bring back lava, bryz, maybe even Briere. The anti-flyer offseason |

whatever will be, will be...
At this point, something's got to give. To me, it's looking like it's 50-50 that he'll be back. I think they can win with him. But he has not played that great, either.
If he did fall asleep in a meeting, I can guarantee he'll be bought out |

Seems unfair to buy out Byrz for sleeping during a meeting when the forwards have been sleeping through entire games for most of the season.

Sleeping during a team meeting in a city where if you work hard you're golden, is like spitting on the bottom of a flip flop and smacking an Arab. |

i'm just speculating here, i don't really know why, but it wouldn't surprise me if Bryz closed his eyes for a minute or so and pouted after not being named the starter.
does it matter to me? not really.
should it be unexpected at this point? not really.

It's Philly.
There's one rumor out there that he just closed his eyes, like he did after getting pulled in Winnipeg and hung his head.

How has he looked? I've been watching at work but some higher-up caught on, and blocked hockeystreams. Just gotta wait till she leaves so I can unblock it |

Decent but not great.
power play goal he had no chance, one goal popped up in the air and nobody knew what happened and went in, the other he went down to early and couldn't recover.

FWIW Heres my plan to fix the Flyers:
1. Buyout Bryz and Briere
2. If they hit the jackpot and get the 1st pick grab Jones.More likely if they pick between 5 and 8 grab Nurse.
3. Trade their 2nd, Gus and Cousins for Bouwmeester; St Louis wont want to pay him since they have to resign Pietrangelo and Shattenkirk.
4. Sign Ray Emery and Brendan Morrison; this team can use some fire and leadership
5. If he can get healthy trade Mez for draft picks, if not LTIRhim
6. Resign Gagne
7. Resign Hall & Rosenhill for depth
Lineup:
Hartnell Giroux Voracek
Morrison Couturier Read
Gagne Schenn Simmonds
Talbot Laughton Rinaldo
spares:Rosenhill & Hall
Bouwmeester Schenn
Timonen Coburn
Grossmann Jones or Nurse
Spare: Gervais
Goal
Mason & Emery
