1. Buyout Bryz and Briere
2. If they hit the jackpot and get the 1st pick grab Jones.More likely if they pick between 5 and 8 grab Nurse.
3. Trade their 2nd, Gus and Cousins for Bouwmeester; St Louis wont want to pay him since they have to resign Pietrangelo and Shattenkirk.
4. Sign Ray Emery and Brendan Morrison; this team can use some fire and leadership
5. If he can get healthy trade Mez for draft picks, if not LTIRhim
6. Resign Gagne
7. Resign Hall & Rosenhill for depth

B. We have a top 5 power-play without him. If he were here what would he improve besides the locker room presence?

In all seriousness, the crux of this one is good. My favorite is the bouwmeester acquisition Bc st Louis hands are tied. Jbow plays a style that lends himself to having many more years in the NHL. And his cap hit will come down a bit

I don't think St. Louis gives him up for Read and Briere, unless the pick you are giving up is this years 1st. If you want to handcuff St. Louis then throw an offer sheet at Shattenkirk.

Because it was time for the younger players to take a bigger bite. And if growing pains needed to happen, let it happen and get it over with. Wanted no parts of bringing him back. He was good for a year. But it was time to move on.

At this point, something's got to give. To me, it's looking like it's 50-50 that he'll be back. I think they can win with him. But he has not played that great, either.

If he did fall asleep in a meeting, I can guarantee he'll be bought out
