I'd like to move on too. Iginla might be a long shot but I'd love to have his leadership in this lockeroom. He still has lots of tread - Just5
I think Iggy will resign in Pittsburgh, because Crosby won't come back this year and they won't win the Cup. Just a prediction. |

I don't think St. Louis gives him up for Read and Briere, unless the pick you are giving up is this years 1st. If you want to handcuff St. Louis then throw an offer sheet at Shattenkirk. - GirouxForTheShow
StLouis is going to have break the bank for Pietrangelo and they won't let Shattenkirk go either. Since they arent a free spending team, I dont see them wanting to pay JayBo. If 2 prospects and a high 2nd isnt enough, I'd add in 2014s 2nd too. |

Nikita Zadorov just scored a top shelf beauty after they missed a pick by Maatta to get him free.
Now tied 3 - 3 - ob18 that beast intrigues me, but there are a few D men I would take before him |

I personally don't think they gave up a first round draft pick and prospects to keep him for one run, and then to trade him. But you never know.

The goal should have never happened with the pick that should have been called but it was a hell of a shot from the slot.
He had a hit in game 3 that knocked the player out of that game and that same player isn't playing in game 4 |

If we could find a dance partner for Hartnell....I would overpay for Iginla and offer him 3 years. He will prob be back with the Pens but really how high can they go for him? |

Why won't Crosby come back? - MJL
Health issues. Again just my 2 cents. A guy with concussion history, and at least one major one on the books, every time you get your bell rung then it's gonna be an issue. |

I still think he's got a concussion, or at least symptoms, but they're not saying anything. |

Did you really think they WOULD say anything?? The NHL is the only league where a player could get decapitated and the GM would come out after the game and say something like "Smith has a lower body injury and is day to day"

Report is that he does not have any concussion issues. It's just a broken jaw, which he should recover from.

I'll have to see if I can find it but I read an article that said Crosby would be back for the last game or two of the regular season. |

No, obviously not. Because if they said he had a concussion there would be cries of him retiring since this would be his what? 3rd, 4th one? Remember, this is the medical staff that (frank)ed up royally at the Winter Classic, not even realizing he had a concussion. I wouldn't put it past them.
They're eventually going to come out and say that he has an infection or something. Maybe even say he has a concussion, but I think he's done for the season. |

And a concussion is an UBI right?
While Shero has come out and said as much, if you break your jaw and have had at least one mild concussion, let alone a major one and countless others, you are very likely to have reoccurring concussion symptoms from the broken jaw. At least that's what I got from my doctor when I asked him the other day out of curiosity. |

if i'm concerned about anything regarding today's bryzness, it's that there is someone on the team or elsewhere in the org that is trying to sabotage bryz...not that he actually was sleeping during a meeting.
i'd say in the pecking order of what's going on this yr, that there would be lower hanging fruit than bryz on this team. |

The NHL is horrible with concussions. Here's a quick little story about a guy without a concussion history, Martin Erat. Or he didn't have a history until someone asked him.
