Crawford has really good career #'s against Detroit for whatever reason

They better come to play tomorrow. Friday night. Pumped-up full house. And it is a huge game. A statement game. This is a very likely 1st round match-up. They need to dominate the wings and send a message. Get better on home ice, too. Since they should have it all playoffs

The sad thing is that this sends a message, not only to Hall, but to the rest of the players that this kind of doosh-baggery is acceptable. So it will happen again, and maybe next time someone gets hurt. Wasn't Hall already suspended once this season?

Great, and it looks like the Hawks will probably get home ice for all 4 rounds. It does seem to be different in the playoffs, though. I sure hope the intensity picks up may 1st.

Good news for the Hawks is that it is looking more likely seeds 4-6 will be some combination of LA, St. Louis, and the Sharks. So 2 of those teams will kill each other in round 1 and the other will give Vancouver a rough ride. We can still face Phoenix. Looks like we should face either detroit, the Wild, or Mike Smith
