He will be injured
- VANTEL

Maybe some team will be willing to take the risk, he could still end up being a somewhat useful 3rd line center.

Sestito was once on the PP for Columbus. Pretty much sums up that franchise.

Cloutier's blogs should be fun the rest of this season.

Clouts is good for stuff like twitter campaigns... maybe #PWF-or-Top2D. As in, if Tambs doesn't bring in a power forward or a top 2 D this summer, he should be fired.

Yeah I know, between the Oilers sucking and the Moose dominating I don't ever get a chance to be pleasantly surprised.

I honestly don't think that Tambellini has the balls to make a move where he has to give up one of his young valuable assets. The only way that happens is if he gets some pressure from ownership/advisors.

OK Roy - you got your first dive as a Canuck out of the way, time to get your first goal.

The Leafs could take that series. This may end up a pretty exciting postseason for you guys.

Leafs are a weird team. They need a bunch of things to go right - all of which are possible - to do well. They need two scoring lines which is possible with Lupul back. They need to cut down on turnovers and inability to clear their zone which is happening but with big lapses every game. They need PK to stay good. It has been amazing. Power play would be nice but I'm not holding my breath And they need goaltending which they've been getting.

If all these things come together, they can play with - maybe not beat but play with anyone in the East. The chances of all these pieces clicking are slim but Carlyle does know how to coach in playoffs.

Either way, I'll be taking my kid to a playoff game after having seen Roenick score in OT in the last one.

Jesu Christe, even Clouts isn't that enamored with our prospects

I don't know if Klefbom is a fast skater. I don't know if Marincin has a hard slapshot. I don't even know if Lander plays golf with Paajarvi and then go clubbing downtown, And our biggest assets - 1sts and 2nds - aren't even members of the organization yet!
Tambs has so many options even outside of the "fab" five, it's baffling if he's unable to pull the trigger.

Well I'm just basing that opinion from Tamby's days in Vancouver. He came off as a really passive, conservative and patient guy from all his interviews and with his demeanour in general. And he has hasn't made a bold move in Edmonton yet either. This is probably the summer to do it.

Tambs and Lowe are too yin and yang. I have no doubt that Tambs runs the show though, because nothing gets done! I'm sure Lowe wanted to offer sheet Subban and O'Reilly and Tambs just sat on his hands.

Yeah, I'm also convinced that Lowe doesn't have much influence or else he definitely would have tried for something big by now.

Deal! Losing Edler is addition by subtraction, he awful. I hope they can unload Kesler this summer too.
- Nucker101

What the hell happened. A year ago Ballard and Edler were in opposite places...
