He was drafted in the 2nd round in 2010 by the Blue Jackets and not signed. He was undrafted last summer, although he was eligible. Had a huge year for Baie-Comeau in the QMJHL (41-41-82 in 55 GP)
Had a good year in his draft year, averaging over a point per game. But tailed off the next two years, but battled injuries. - Jsaquella
Cool. But really he is a long sfot to make the team I guess. Thought you need to be about a 2 pt per game player in the q to be considered a top 6 player

He was 17th in the league in scoring, despite missing 13 games. Not shabby. But as an overager, things have to be taken with a grain of salt.
Add in 18 points in 8 playoff games, per his agent Allan Walsh
Bill, can you, please, project Gagne in the 1st line instead of Hartnell? I know it won't happen, but maybe someone will read it here and get an idea.. - Ondrej F
I like the Flyers signing of Petr Straka. Apart from his overager numbers in the Q this year, he has definite NHL-caliber tools (speed and good hands). Back in 2010, some projected him as a first-round pick. He didn't really develop much, so Columbus didn't sign him, but then he had the huge overage season this year.
