Nope, and I don't think it's ever going to be. - MJL
Honestly where do you project this kid to be?
1st line center?
2nd line center?
Jordan Staal or Stevie Yzerman type player? |

I don't see him being a HOF player and a top scorer in the League, like Yzerman. But I think he can be a #2 Center who can score in the 60 pt range or a little higher. And can play in all situations. And match up against any line.

Eddy has input we all know that. Holmgren has to figure out a way to build this blueline. Thats the most important issue going into the offseason. - stveshdy
yea, we can't feast on scraps again. it's really a challenge, because minute munching puck movers cost a fortune. he had one in-house and he let him go in carle. matt had his issues, but he coulda really helped out this yr and going forward.
say goodbye to one (at least) of couts, schenn, laughton and/or the #1 pick....and that's just for one of the 2 puck movers we need. i dunno, maybe the zaitsev rumor is true and he'll be a player. we def need a little luck. |

Not surprising because he was at the Flyers prospect camp last summer. |

anybody who can competently handle top pair mins is not grossly overpaid at 5.25. wouldn't be my fave contract, but it's not a bryzaster. besides, the flyers could have likely signed him for slightly less, if we are to believe Leed, who tweeted that the agent and the flyers had agreed on a deal waiting for the flyers to make the call. |

Big frame, plays a block-the-puck game. Has become a good puckhandler. He has had an unbelievable senior collegiate season this year but it should also be noted he plays behind a strong defensive team.

So best guess is he would start for the Phantoms next year if signed? |

Can't have your cake and eat it too. Flyers didn't reup him cause they had planned to go all in on Suter/Weber. I dont have a problem with it. I don't like the value of the deal at all. |

he's a durable, puck mover who hovers around the 40 point mark most yrs. he also blocks a lot of shots. obvi, we're not going to agree on this one. |

Rangers and Debs coming up next I believe, I'm not very hopeful. More likely 2 game winning streak, or 6 game losing streak? |

I like the player just not his contract at six years at $5.5M
The money would be higher if not for the length which I think is too long.
Anyway, its water under the bridge at this point. |

Actually next is back to back with Montreal and the Rangers. The Habs should be in abad mood after getting spanked by Toronto tonight and the way the Flyers offense is going Lundquist should have a field day.
BTW Tampa ties it up with 2 mins to go! |
