To keep him, you have to qualify him and I'm not sure if they can still offer him a 2 way deal. However, it won't effect the cap at all since he is under 35 and will most likely be on LTIR the entire season.

He can still get a 2 way deal. And players on LTIR absolutely affect the Cap.

650k is fair for Rinaldo.
I love watching him, he is one of the best open ice hitters.
He also learned how to not get called for penalties, has some speed, and maybe decent hands.

He is still a work in progress on his defensive game though.
He is not the guy to put on the ice in a shut down role in a close game.
So hopefully he keeps improving.

Congrats to Zac, he definitely worked hard to get this.
