No he doesn't. He's held his own in this League as a 19 year old player. He just needs to be allowed to grow. Many preach the that the Flyers should show patience with young players. The fans should practice what they preach.

Flyers management has to show patience. There's no alternative at this point. Maximize value in all deals with an eye on a 3-5 year Horizon.

Watched the Bo Jackson 2 hour special and now Todd Morinovich special. It always amazes me how the media blames a kids parents(nurture) for not making it to the next level. In other discussions it's they're born that way. Bo was born an NFL player!

Bill, nice piece on Danny Briere, I love the way the kid plays, and if the flyers buy him out & chicago once again doesn't address the #2 center , danny would be a perfect fit for that team if the $$ can work out! and besides he has cousins that live in chicago , is a likable person & would work great with 19,88 ,81 & the others!
PS. the flyers will always be my #2 team, I hope they turn it around, this is just a blip in the road, a full 82 game season & training camp & health, they will be back a top the east. don't agree with them trading JVR & Bobo and god dam it do not trade that couturier kid either!

I was lucky enough to see Kate sing it live at the spectrum as a younger guy. you guys will be just fine next season, get that top 5 pick this year & please, homer , don't trade it!

sorry frank, hate to disappoint you. I am friends with Danny's cousin & I truely like the flyers. have since the 70's broad street bullies. even though chicago is on a roll & have high end skill, I do not agree with Quennville's "play nice little joey no check mentality" he's turned Danny Carcillo into a Pus sy. come play off them getting drilled will take its toll. so no troll job here, other than the Hawks ,i follow you guys on the dish, & if danny leaves philly, would love to see him in chicago, so would his cousins............Later!

I was in Chicago last year, visiting a good buddy of mine.
He took me to a neighborhood bar, introduced me to his friends.
When they found out I was from out of town, I did not have to buy a drink all night.

Fabulous city and really friendly people there.

I never mentioned I was a Flyer fan, though.

and Briere this year to Chicago for anything back would have been great.
It would make it slightly better for me to see Briere win a Cup if Chicago wins it again.

They need to bring in guys that can HIT THE G.D. NET with a shot.
