the point I was trying to make, and maybe I didn't make it too clearly, was that I want the Habs to be gritty going into the playoffs ... not chippy.

I hope tonight wasn't an example of how they will respond to a more physical team, and just maybe it was a game that got away and frustration rose to the top.

Phew Not sure how to divide gritty from chippy but I get what your saying. Thing is they can't get sucked into a physical game. They have to be near perfect skating and passing. They have to get the dumps out fast and use their transition...if they bobble it in their own end they are (frank)ed. At the end of the day fatigue will play a bigger part than anything. Its why I question whether they'd make the POs if it were an 82 game sched.. Having said that I think they've made a leap versus last years edition.
