I think it's time to do the obvious thing, trade Price for Luongo. |

You'd need to get permission to talk to Luongo first.
No way I trade for him unless he agrees to a contract extension. |

If i recall i was going back to 25games at the time.
Price's stats have dropped by .002 in sv and went up .1 in GAA since the last time.
Shoot him ( or at him it will probably go in) - Oilhab
All I'm saying is, (Saturday's game notwithstanding) he's been good. But rarely great.
He's not carrying the team on his shoulders (and he shouldn't be). If you look at his stats of last season, they pretty similar to his stats this season. What this tells me is, he's pretty much the same goaltender, not better, or worse, but the team is much better.
I don't understand why his stats aren't better this season. |

they are also not far off from what everyone considers his worst year, when Halak had his run.
Price is what he is, stops 90% of his saves, and will let in 2 goals. Score 3 instead of 1 and you will win.
probably has something to do with his calm attitude, he never gets fired up or angry, players always play their best when they are fired up. |

Never said he was, I said it wouldn't take a monster run to get him the numbers that would win a vezina. |

agree but at the same time, only 4 teams have given up fewer goals than Montreal this season so it's not like it's been a problem. |

Why 22gp? cause that's the best scenario for Price's stats?
Usually the mark is 30 games in a regular season so it is safe to say you should count for all goalie with 15 games or more at THIS point in this SHORT season...That would put Price around 15+ for GAA and 20+ for SV%...pretty average year but the team is doing pretty good on the other hand... |

Oh, no no, it is not a problem.
What could become a problem is their scoring depth. If they slump at the start of the playoffs, they're toast. |
